That is the most outrageously paternalistic perspective I have ever heard in my life. And people say we Australians of British origin are paternalistic. That is nothing compared to your perspective. If I turned up in Outback Australia and sang Rule Britannia, I couldn’t be more outrageous. Do you not recognize the right of these countries to self-determination?
