Heather, I just want you to know that your terror is justified and understood. But please do not categorize all African-American Men into the same boat with those persons who have given themsleves over to the rage inside them and lashed out at you. They do not represent men in general or the vibrant African-American men that support, protect and uphold women. I hope you are in counseling and learning to forgive. Please accept my apology for them. They weren't mad at you. They were angry at themselves and society. They will sow what they have reaped. I am so sorry.
