    Keep in mind the Upper Income Level Class stops paying social security tax in the U.S. after their income hits $97,500. Social Security tax is the most substantial tax of personal income at 6.2%. I believe that was the point of the original author. Those with more money and a better position in life have the power to vote in their favor. There are many ways as a self employed person to prepare your tax returns to take advantage of tax breaks. If you think otherwise you are misinformed and/or have an ignorant accountant. Big business get all the breaks. Small business has less opportunity along with the lower income masses.
