Before the act of ‘eating the fruit,’ Adam and Eve were innocent, naked and unashame. After the act, they sew fig leaves to cover up their sexual parts and not their mouth. Isn’t this a strong clue as to why the fruit is so tempting? I believe that when God said ‘Don’t eat the fruit..’ it means that ‘Don’t experience sexual intercourse until they are mature enough. A tree multiplies through its fruit but man multiplies through sexual love. Of course some may disagree. But we cannot deny that the desire for sex is that powerful.
