    I hope that I can answer your question without causing debate or any other hostile and unproductive feelings towards one another. It mostly has to do with the history between Whites and Blacks in this country beginning with slavery. All of this can be answered once you have done some extensive research on this topic. All of the issues that Americans have about crossing racial lines in their personal relation ships stems for the days in which one race held another race in bondage for nearly 500 years. These things ultimately has shaped the attitudes for both whites and blacks in this country when it comes to interacial dating between white men and black women and white women and black men. but in conclusion I will say that there is no visible proof to substaintiate the myth and that is what it is a myth, that it is or ever was a time in which white women and black dating each other to considered as sociallbly accepted more than white men and black women. They are both to this very day still considered a taboo.
