    I’ve been on the pill for about three months now. My most noticeable side effects are headaches, especially during the first week of the pill cycle, and overall fatigue. I think that these side effects are quite common. I do not think that I’ve gained any weight while taking the pill, but I certainly haven’t lost any either! Just as a side note, you may want to read an article in this month’s issue of Glamour or Mademoiselle magazines about the Pill and how having your period could cause cancer. The pill actually lessens the growing of your endometrial lining which you shed during your perios, and as the article stated, there is no medically necessary reason to have your period while on the pill. In other words, there is no reason why you should stop taking active pills. If you don’t have access to those magazines, let me know, I’ll send you the article.
