It sounds like you are perpetuating the very stereotype you are attempting to explain. As an African-American, it bothers me to hear Whites speak for us. You are not qualified to do so, so please speak about that which you experience first hand. I have known many Jamaicans througout the years and have enjoyed wonderful, meaningful relationships with them. The idea that our relationship (Jamaicans and Blacks) is anything but warm is ridiculous. And since you are neither African American nor Jamaican, anything you assert is clearly second or third hand gossip. Please come intelligently or not at all. Peace
