MikeParticipantBased on past experience, I would strongly discourage it. You’re Upper middle class, so you’re probably in a professional job. There’s a good chance that you’ll co-workers and superiors uncomfortable enough to really jeopardize your job security. And when it breaks up one of you will want to leave the workplace.

MikeParticipantI’m married to a woman from Taiwan who I met in graduate school. For men who are attracted Oriental women, the appeal is: * intelligence and introspectiveness * oriental features (eyes, skin, hair) * slimness Because these three things are so consistently present, what makes some particularly attractive is her specific face. It’s difficult, if not impossible to describe what makes a face attractive. My wife is fairly tall (5’7′) and not submissive, which runs counter to stereotypes. We’ve visited her family in Taiwan a couple of times, but I think it appeals to me that I don’t have in-laws that speak the same language as me that I need to visit on holidays.
