I am not sure from the original posting if the question is about a U.S. over-population scare, or about global over-population. There is currently enough food and resources to feed and properly substain the growing numbers of people. However, the concepts of responsibility, sharing and equity in areas of land and other natural resources, technology, and education need to be adopted and practiced by nations, especially those with wealth and power, such as the U.S. There also needs to be a willingness to understand what maybe ‘over-population’ to one group or vantage point, is actually revitalization to another. As for birth control, I hope people who have the opportunity of choice about birth control choose wisely with all the information on harmful side effects. And, that men in particular, support more research in birth control and emotional intelligence so that they can have a better say in birth control options.
