I confess I used to wear eye-liner when I went clubbing in L.A. during the ’80s. Why? Who knows? The ’80s were a wacky time. Anyway, it’s not something I’m particularly proud of and I haven’t worn any type of makeup since. Now I’m just a normal soap-and-water and off I go kinda guy. I don’t know why any man would wear makeup nowadays. We aren’t under the same societal pressures to hide flaws the way women are. As I type this, I have a zit on my cheek for all to see. That’s life! Anyway, to answer your question: male makeup as a daily grooming ritual seems strange to me.
