MarthaParticipantIt depends on your current atmosphere. If you are in an area where coming out would threaten your safety than be smart, your safety should come first. If you know your area is one of a safe environment, then take a long time thinking to yourself. You are the only one that knows yourself, and despite what anyone says about your age, your relationships, or anything, you will know for sure. If you do feel comfortable and do want to come out (remeber you don’t have to) then start by finding a friend or counsiler or teacher you know you can trust. I came out to an boy at my school first, because i knew he was gay, even though we didn’t know eachother that well. It was really nice to have someone to talk to that understood me, and we became really close.
