Almost every Hispanic household I know has at least 1 firearm – be it a rifle, shotgun, revolver. Shotguns are probably the most common. So I think it’s a pretty safe bet that there are a lot of Hispanics who support the right to bear arms. The reasons are pretty obvious – most of us don’t live in really nice neighborhoods, unfortunately, whenever the police are involved, people with brown skin are usually suspects, it takes the police a long time to respond to calls in our neighborhoods, and we want to keep our families safe just as much as anybody else.
