The problem in our society today is way too many ignorant people. Many people believe that being gay is wrong, that gay people should not be allowed to be married, etc because it scares them and makes them uncomfortable. Well too bad! Many things make people uncomfortable and you just need to learn to deal with it! I find it completely rude and discriminatory to not allow gay men and lesbian women to show public displays of affection and to not allow them the same rights as straight men and women. They’re (gay/lesbian people) just the same as us (straight people) and everyone deserves love and compassion. So be proud and show your love! and anyone who resorts to physical violence because they don’t like what they see deserves jail time and the exact same thing done back to them, if they want to beat someone up for being gay then they should be beat up for being an ignorant, uncaring, hateful human being. Also, to all these biblical scholars we seem to have here, the bible has been re-written many many many times so how can we be sure that it was what god really said?
