    For a Jew to pray in a Christian service gives legitamacy to the Christian claim that Jesus is God. Christians who visit our synagogue can pray because their faith is founded on ours, and would not be contradicted. Many small Jewish congregations rent churches for their services, and pray freely during the Jewish services held there. It’s not so much the building, but the message being presented that makes prayer inappropriate during a Christian service
