You want to know what I feel about all the Hispanics coming into the United States? I feel fine with it. I don’t care if they’re here, it’s not my country, alone. How could anyone claim what God put on this earth for everyone? A few of my friends are Hispanic and I love em to death. They’re so nice once you get to know them, and why wouldn’t I want someone like that here with me?

I believe that the real reason, us, African Americans put so much emphasis on what we have is because there was never really a time when we were able to have anything, or if we had anything of any value, it wasn’t safe. ‘The gold, the name-brand clothes, the shoes, the ride, the hair…’ it gives us a sense of a higher standard than what we came from. It’s like a step up. Don’t get me wrong, it doesn’t define who we are, but it does feel good to say I have this, this, and this.

Actually the only thing I’ve ever worn that still had tags on it were my Fitted hats. I don’t really know why, I think it was just the style. And trust me, it’s not just Blacks. It’s just about anyone into the Hip Hop fashion
