Kristina26241ParticipantWhite entertainers get enough glorification — why would it matter if blacks want to support them or not? I think blacks, like most people, like what they like in terms of music and don’t care as much about the skin color. It’s probably not the entertainer as much as the type of music that entertainer is promoting that could be a turn-off to SOME blacks. I am black and love classical/instrumental music (including New Age and Jazz), so-called white music. I really don’t care what race the artist is – in fact, most of my music CDs are performed by whites. I also have attended a country music concert. So please don’t tell me what blacks do or don’t do, because chances are you just don’t have a clue. Start judging blacks as individuals and not by some media stereotype, and your understanding will be a whole lot better.
