I see it like this: God is outside of time, and the beginning, middle and end are already known to him. Let’s say you are in real trouble, and pray that an event will turn out in a certain way. You know that the decision has already been made and the message is on its way to you. Is it of any use to pray? I believe it is. The decision that was made could have been based in part on the prayer that God knew you would make as the mailman walked to your door.
