Josie29154MemberI’d like to see what the world looks like, and feels like, as a man. Would I notice different things? Overlook things I usually notice as a woman? Would two people arguing seem different through a male’s eyes – would I read it differently? I’ve noticed that when men meet another man for the first time, their responses seem different from when a woman meets another woman for the first time: men seem immediate chums, whereas women tend to try to rapidly ‘read’ as much information as they can about this new person – so I’d like to be introduced to another man, and another woman, and see how I’d relate to them as a man. I’d also like to feel what pressures men are under daily, eg. not to show their feelings when hurt, not to be freely tactile, and whatever other ‘daily’ pressures men are under (what others are there, men?). As a woman, I feel that one of my ‘daily’ pressures is the awareness of always being judged on sexual terms, even if the man isn’t interested in me sexually. By the way, I think this is a great question.
