Please do not base your viewpoint on freshmen white guys. They do not know enough yet. Let them live awhile and then ask them. Affirmative Action is currently being abused ask anyone trying for an opening either in a job or school. I met young High School people from the inner-city doing summer work for the city as interns at various companies. My office had two bright young kids. They were black which is what the ethnicity of the innersity it made up so it was expected. They were good kids and I attended the graduation program for them at the end of the summer at the state university in the inner city. I was about the only white guy there. All of the speakers were black university professors and they all had the same message. Do not worry about what you read in the papers about a money shortage for universities in this state. It doesn’t apply to you or us. There will be plenty of money for your education and you will get in when you apply. In other words affirmative action will ensure that you get in PERIOD! One of my students told me about the many times he had been to South Africa during previous summers. Does this sound like inner-city underprivileged kids? No, just black kids with a future assured at the expense of poor white kids. The playing field has been level for at least two genreations. Isn’t it about time to help the poor white kids now? Please see what your freshm,an classes think about my viewpoint.

It is not just Asians. Unfortunately, it is because of a fear of VD & crime associated with the young black males.
