    I come from Texas, and I have dated interracially before. I never got weird looks or disapproving stares. I have heard people’s parents (mostly evangelical Christians) talking about how it is a sin to date outside your race. I encountered none of these problems from people in my own generation. Texas is so racially diverse, and the schools are so integrated (my school is literally a third white, and third hispanic, and a third black), that the younger generations have become much more accepting and open on race issues.
