Don’t worry about it because it’s not ‘strange’ or ‘wrong’. I felt the same way when I was your age. Most of my friends have almost always been at least a few years older and I’m perfectly happy with that. Some advice though, don’t purposely dismiss possible friendships with every single person because they’re not older than you. Chances are there’s at least one of your peers who’s interested in the same things as you are. As cliche as it sounds, the teen years are confusing times. If I managed to get through it though, I’m sure you will to.
