As far as pierced nipples making it harder to breast feed — nothing could be farther from the truth! The areola tissue heals differently from other piercings. It actually allows the milk to flow easier! (please remove jewelry as it is a choking hazard) I can speak from experience. I had my nipples pierced for 2 years before I was pregnant, & successfully breast fed for 5 months. I suppose it would be possible for scar tissue to cause problems, if the piercing itself did not heal properly. Please do your research before making such an obtuse statement.
