I think the major problem is that you’re letting this bother you. You’re attracted to Caucasian men, and there’s nothing wrong with that. These men may have people in their lineage who were guilty of heinous acts in your region, but obviously the men you would be dating would not have had any part in these actions. I say don’t judge people based on their ancestors and just be happy with who you are and who you like.

I think I have to disagree with your comment that anyone who uses the term ‘gay’ in a negative way is homophobic. I think most people who use that term do so without thinking, since it is a relatively familiar slang term in many areas. I’m not saying that it’s right, I’m just saying that the mere use of the word in a negative fashion is not necessarily equivalent to hatred toward the homosexual population.
