Most blacks vote Democratic because of the issues that Democrats stand for. Affirmative Action, which is apart of the Democratic platform is predominatly a black issue. Republicans have neglected the ‘black issues.’ Democrats are better at protecting civil rights whether it is for blacks or any other minority. Another reason is that blacks live mostly in big cities. Republicans are consistently trying to take funding from big cities and put it into ‘whiter’ suburban areas.
