JamesMemberSometimes I go in the bathroom to read, without any real intestinal agenda. I put on some headphones, hop in the tub (sans water) and have a good read. I find the bathroom, with all its tile and shine, be very conducive to reading. Of course if someone sees you go in, assumptions will be made as to your activites when you finally return hours later. Eh, screw em’.

JamesMemberMy freshman year of high school I would have thought it was impossible. I was romantically or sexually interested in all my female friends. Now I have very deep, personal relationships with three women, one of whom I dated for two years and who is now one of my best friends, one who is like another sister, and one whom I can talk to for hours on end about anything in general. I find all of them to be absolutely gorgeous. However, obviously with the latter two I’ve never considered anything romantic or sexual with them.

JamesMemberIn my experience it’s just because it’s nice to have leg room. i’m 6’3 and i’ll likely take a spot across from anyone rather than right next to them to save space. also if i’m talking to someone at a table, or whatever i always try to sit across from them. i like to look whomever i’m talking to in the eye. when you’re sitting right next to someone with maybe only 8 inches between your heads it suddenly becomes very strange to torque your neck all the way to the side and look talk to someone that way. not to mention i don’t like feeling someones breath on my face when i’m talking to them. i don’t think homosexuality of the possibility thereof, or homophobia are ever a factor.
