[Hazellboo]

I am an African-American woman who recently moved to a Southern state for economic reasons. There is much more opportunity in Southern states than Northern ones. Also, a lot of companies are relocating their main branches to Southern states. Secondly, do you think I would really let whites intimidate me so much that I would allow them to control where I live? This is a new day, and I cannot do anything about the past. True, there is still racism in the South, but it’s also in the North.
