What is the big deal? 20-30 years ago no one would even have noticed barefoot kids at the ice cream stand, supermarket or anywhere else. Who cares if someone goes barefoot by choice? You can go barefoot and still not look like a slob or a refugee. People do it all the time here and in New Zealand and other places. Why is this even a debate????
