Elaine25291ParticipantI have lived in South Carolina for 31 years and find that in the larger communities (Columbia, Charleston, Greenville) interracial couples are not a big issue. Here in Columbia, I’ve seen many interracial couples associated with Fort Jackson. I live in Columbia but work in a small town and find that folks in the smaller communities have more issues with this than the larger ones. I think that wherever you go in this country, a more metropolitan area will be more accepting. Charleston is a great city. Good luck!
