Yes, it isn’t safe sex, especially if you are worried about STDs, but… Sex while I’m on my period (and not on the pill) means I can relax an enjoy. Pregnancy is highly unlikely. ALSO, I’m just much more aware of that part of my body, and that leads to other thoughts. I think some people are turned on by the ‘naughty-ness’ aspect, as well. Like the first responder, I think hormones probably also play a role.
