    While some women may be doing this for the reason you suggest (I can only speak for myself, of course), I can’t really imagine that it would be that effective. I just tried it, and it didn’t work. I do this sometimes, and I think it’s more a matter of fidgeting than anything else. You know, some people shake their legs, some fiddle with pens, some play with their hair. I don’t think it’s sexual. Probably the reason women do it and men don’t is that men don’t sit cross-legged as often.
