I think it is from not bathing as much. my 94 yo great grandmother smells horrible and I know it’s because she forgets to bathe. She was never one to bathe every day as they did not do that on the farm she grew up on. But now that her memory is bad she forgets how long it’s been since she’s bathed. She also hangs up her dirty clothes along with her clean ones and then forgets which are clean or dirty.
