I wash my hair every other day, but my husband washes his every day. (And if for some reason he needs a second shower in a day, he also washes his hair a second time.) If I wash my hair too frequently, it just feels a little dry, but it’s no big deal. It certainly doesn’t fall out in clumps! If I go longer than 48 hours without washing my hair, it starts to feel greasy. (My mother has an old school textbook from the 1940s on health and hygiene that recommends washing one’s hair every two weeks!) How often do blacks wash their hair?
