Maybe I’ve had one too many open discussions, but I’ve heard it all depends on what type of underwear you wore as a kid. I wore briefs until i was about 11 or 12, then switched to boxers. More often than not while wearing briefs i was most comfortable pointing up & to one side, because if it pointed down it would fall out (uncomfortable). So as a result, when erect it points up and slightly right. Afer switching to boxers, i noticed that it gradually stood up less, and now it points forwad and right, but i still have some upward curve, which i believe the ladies enjoy at times due to the woman’s natural curve.
