You'll get less honesty from people on this subject than just about any other. I am not saying all people of a certain race have a distinctive odor, nor that such an odor is confined to a certain race. But here's what I've noticed from a 'lifetime of smelling': many black people have a strong, rich, almost pungent smell; many white people have either a sickly sweet smell or even kind of a fatty scent (some overweight white people smell like mustard!); a lot of elderly white people have almost a decayed-like smell. It's not diet. I refuse to believe that all people who smell a certain way have been eating the same foods. Politically incorrect as it may be to say, various races, ethnicities and possibly even age groups smell different. But who's going to be honest and say anything about it in public? Scientists wouldn't dare touch a subject like this.
