While I agree with what some of the other posters said about what Paul was referring to, What the sin of Sodom was or was not, let’s say for a moment that I accept that the Bible says homosexuality is an abomination. The Bible also says that if your children disrespect you, they should be stoned to death. It says women having their period are not allowed inside until a week after their period ends. It says you can’t eat pork or shellfish. While Jesus never said word one about homosexuality, he did say divorce was wrong. So if you want to know how a homosexual can be a Christian, I want to know how anyone who has not killed his disobediant son can be a Christian? How can a divorced person be a Christian? How can someone who eats pork and shellfish be a Christian? Actually, to say that someone cannot be a Christian because of their sin is ridiculous. All Christians are sinners; they believe that their sins are forgiven via the cross. That means the sins of gays and lesbians and as well as the sins of straight people.
