I am a girl scout leader and here is what I have found with my girls, ranging in age from 6 to 13: The children in our society are interested in the cultures of others and the languages of others. By using Ebonomics, I have been able to share with them some of the diversity of the US and given them a window to others. this is how I feel it should be handled. I also feel there should be some sort of imput from the United Nations or Foreign Service board as to other cultures. we live in a town of about 3,000 people. What are the chances that my girls will have an opportunity to meet someone from another culture in farmland America?
