I give a standard 15% tip at restaurants. However, since I usually dine alone and don’t run a big bill, my tips do not seem too big. For example, dinner at The Sizzler will usually run about $12, and 15% is $1.80. I usually leave $2. It doesn’t sound like much, but when you consider my bill, its about right. I have to admit that I am not in the habit of tipping pizza boys. My reason: in my area of Los Angeles, I am actually charged an additional price for delivery. Ordering a pizza at home costs more than picking it up myself. If an am paying an addition charge, why should I tip you?
