I am the same way, except that I identify with the teens I’m around as well, though not as well as everyone else seems to. I can pretty much turn down the ages of wisdom. It helps me to be detached from the situations, realizing that all people have different perspectives and most people of my age don’t see things from my ‘old soul’ point of view. I try not to be judgmental and I find that it gets me further than to impose my views no matter how right they may be. And you will find people like you. I mean, the world is filled with interesting people.

When I was younger, I believed that love at first sight was based on assumptions and entirely unlikely. And it most probably still is ‘lust at first sight’. But now, since it did happen to me, I’d have to say that in most situations it doesn’t exist. But there are rare exceptions. When it happened to me, I just saw him and was like, ‘Whoa.’ But I don’t know if it was his general appearance that drew me in, or what he was doing, which was, talking to a group of people in a way that suggested that he enjoyed life. And when I saw him there was some familiarity, as if I’d seen him before, but I knew that was impossible. It was a surreal experience. And after meeting him, I fell into it, because he made me feel so naturally high. I found that we had a lot in common. So maybe, that’s how it works. But if you do find yourself attracted to someone after only just meeting them, precede with caution. Love is enduring, it doesn’t just burn out if it really is love.
