ACC25093ParticipantIt’s good you have such a curious daughter. In the Philippines I saw that younger people would greet someone older by taking the older one’s hand and touching it to their (the younger one’s) forehead. This is a way of showing respect. Many Mexicans and Mexican-Americans say hello by just tilting the head up without saying anything, kind of like the reverse of nodding yes. I don’t know why, but I’ve always seen it.
