I always wondered why us blacks that were born in America are called African Americans. Knowning that my people are from africa i know im ‘african american’ but whatever. Anyways. I questioned a lot of my teachers, friends, and random people that i’ve held conversations with about…What do Whites from like South Africa or whites from any part call themselves when they move to American. They ARE considered AFRICAN because thats where they lived. And they did come to AMERICA so are they also considered African American? and if not…isn’t that a bit stupid. I think that they should get that labeling before i do. Can someone tell me what they call themselves.
