FossihundtParticipantTen years ago my father took his life after finding out he had lung cancer; he'd suffered from a blood cancer for four years already. He and I were very close; this devastated me for a very long time. I have managed to heal at least on the surface. My question is: how do I answer when I become close to someone as a friend, and they ask me how did your father die? I usually give the flip response he had cancer, but most folks don't go beyond that to ask did he Die of that? I guess I just need insight from those who've experienced the same thing. How do y'all handle this?User Detail :
