To Ann Arbor, as a well adjusted and happy Pagan I find the argument that it is better to believe in Jesus ‘just in case’ further proof that organized religion abhors intelligence…If my faith is somehow wrong and I die and end up before the Christian god I would rather be there as ‘Whoops I guess I was wrong, forgive me? than, whew, its a good thing I weighed the odds and pretended to worship you just in case!’ …Remember this is a religion that has persecuted people for seeking knowledge from the beginning( remember that tree thing?)…and blamed it on women to boot!
