Trust me when I say this it is a European thing not just an Italian thing. Mostly the older generations of Italians are racist towards other people. There not like KKK lynch mob type racists no not at all they just simply don’t trust other people of colour. My grandfather lived in a village ware he never saw a black person for 15 years all of a sudden he goes to the states and sees black people everywhere. He didn’t trust them simply because he wasn’t use to their presence not because he has a heart full of hate. Don’t get me wrong he was still wrong for assuming that they were bad people and he shouldn’t have done that. And defiantly not all of them are like this. And please don’t get you knowledge from movies . . . . . they aren’t real. If you honestly think that all Italians are racist that’s wrong. Racism is Ignorance and stupidity. I have always been against it and it disgusts me whenever I am around it.
