Im a teen in a high school that is located in the country, and im coming to you to find the answer to a question that ive been asking many people now. first off , im a hispanic, born in puerto rico, and i dont look hispanic because im white. Because of my being white , american country people, decide to take it upon them selves to make fun of me and call out racist comments like, ‘i hope you dont forget your greenpass if your ever going to travel’, or, ‘your a dirty mexican, your to white to be puertorican.’ i hear that and laugh because of course those things arent really offensive to me seeing as though im not mexican, but the things that come out of these peoples mouths is jsut unbearable, its not only the hispanics they are attacking, they make fun of blacks, and asians. Why is there so much racism now, especially after the big tragedy with the 9/11 terror attacks, i mean instead of attacking eachother, why not get along and try to make the United States live up to the name it was given?
