At my school there are many cultural clubs for asians, middle easterns, and spanish. There are none for whites and if we ever made one people would be outraged. It seems as if whites cannot have any tradition. Look at how the confederate flag is viewed by non-whites. To many whites I know, including many of my family and friends in Virginia and West Virginia, the flag is a symbol of tradition. Where is tradition for whites? And double standards. Why can my non-white people say ‘Man, he acts sooo white’ but if I say ‘Man, he’s so black’ I would be patronized. Living in Northern Virginia, where whites are becoming the minority I see non-whites ganging up on white people. There is more hostility against white people than any other race. Why can’t I be proud that I’m white and why do they try to make me feel as if I am the ‘bad guy’?
