Why do some black people (of all ages) pronounce the ‘th’ sound as if it is an ‘f,’ such as ‘truf’ instead of ‘truth’ and ‘strengf’ instead of ‘strength?’ I have noticed black people of all walks of life speaking in this manner and am curious as to why this is.
