why doesnt catholisism ever change? why wont they admit that sex and homosexuality is fine? and that condoms stop AIDs? i was raised catholic and only recently expressed my antitheistic ideas. i was disgusted by the idea that the supposed omnipotent god was represented by someone who cannot change with new ideas. if catholics and other christians dont change soon, their religion might die out. and if they keep denying all the wrong they have commited, then id be fine with christianity going away.

The Catholic Church’s views on AIDS prevention and birth control have caused so much death and misery in the Third World it is astounding that Pope Benedict isn’t being tried in The Hague. The Church is losing its audience in educated nations and that’s why it is all for opening the US border and merging with Mexico. It relies on superstition and ignorance to survive. Even Italy, the Vatican’s host nation, has a negative birth rate because people have figured out that it’s suicide to have children you can’t afford to feed, clothe and educate. The Church will eventually have to change or it will be phased out entirely.
