Why is it that not to long ago in the United States,just about anybody from Latin America or Spain would of been considered a white ethnic,but now anybody from/and or of Latin American/or Spanish Descent is automatically considered a Hispanic/Latino and are a minority?You'd think that as time progressed people would move up the social ladder,but in this case it's quite the other way around,where a group that was for the most part considered white is now considered to be a non-white minority group?
