Why do so many gay and lesbian people attempt to be part of religions that at best tolerate them and at worst hate them. The bible clearly speaks out against homosexuality and if I'm not mistaken most of the other organzized religions do also. Christianity is what it is, etc. Please let me make it clear that I am a Wiccan and all of the other Wiccans I associate with are very accepting of gay people and love them just as much as anyone else. I have gay and lesbian friends and hate it when Christians tell them they are going to hell for being gay. I believe people are born that way and no amount of preaching or "converting" will ever change it.
