While I was really lucky ,my mother was open and honest about her faith…’this is what I believe, others don’t,decide for yourself’ My best friend grew up in a very strict christian family. She has told me stories of sitting up all night crying as a child because she was afraid she might have sinned and would burn in hell.Should this be forced on a child? We are both adults now and somehow from our very different backgrounds we managed to end up in the same place…Pagan earrh worship and are both very happy within it. You can force religion all you want, but you will risk ruining their open minded innocence and might turn the child away from your religion altogether.
